A photoValentine.
So I've been thinking a lot about Christmas cards...yeah, I know it's past December but I really love getting photo's of everyone I know and love. But why is it only at Christmas that we update people on our lives? Particularly with photographs?
And on a separate note why do we turn to superhero's and cartoon Princesses to inform those around us that we love them? I mean granted, I loved picking out valentine cards when I was little and deciding which ones I was going to give to each person in my class. But this year I was thinking it would be fun to make photo Valentines actually featuring the person they are from. So I made these for Grant:
It's 4 x 6 so you could print enough for a class and spend about the same as you would buying a box of Valentines.
I explain how to make an exact copy using your own child in an article, here( on Creating Keepsakes website):

So adorable. Oh to be talented like you.

Love it!
I had to drop you a quick note to tell you thanks. I was recently in Barnes & Noble and I picked up the book Twilight based on your suggestion. I began reading it on vacation and devoured it in just a couple days. I could not wait to get back to the States to buy New Moon and Eclipse. I am obsessed! Can't wait for the movie, the next book in the Twilight series and her new adult book coming out in May.
Thanks!
Jodi

Hi C!
hope all is well with you!
I'm up late/early because of bad sinuses/cold/cough. ugh. no better time to get caught up on what's going on with my creative friends...
Hope to see you on the road this year...

I absolutely LOVE this idea! I think I will use this idea as thank you's for birthday gifts. That way they get a thank you and a picture of the birthday child.

Love that photo especially the perspective with the Valentine's hearts in the forefront. Someday I will get better with those darned aperture settings.
