Candice:

Hang in there and it has to go up! I'm glad your family is safe and that you have awesome neighbors and a great insurance agent!

Joscie

OMGosh, that is so scary! I am glad to hear your family members are all safe. Sorry about your stuff!

mrs boo radley

Oh my. Glad you're okay. (-<)

Mim

How scary! Glad you are okay.

Genn

Hi Candice,

I can't believe your house was hit by a tornado!

I feel so bad for you guys. I really hope that you aren't stressing too much about getting comments done for class. Please don't!

You look so pretty in your office pre-disaster photo. :)
And yes, things have to start going up from here. Hang in there.

Megan

Oh my gosh! I'm glad you guys are okay. What a scary thing to go through!!!

Elizabeth

ACK! I can't even imagine. I'm so, so glad that you aren't dealing with bad insurance on top of it all...

naomi megan.

seriously? candice. i can't believe it. or imagine. so glad you all are safe and you have good insurance. i am starting to believe there is nothing better than good insurance in this world. seriously.

Melanie

You poor thing. It has been a rough year for y'all. Glad that you are okay and thank God for insurance.

chloe

Um...your makeup in that picture looks really good! (sorry I never got back to you...watching kids sucks the life out of me...and my brain.) Sarah called to tell me about your house. That is just crappy. At least you have insurance, right?

Sara

Good lord! Hang in there. Your family will all definitely laugh about this crazy epic year later on.

Barbara Holland

Oh my gosh Candice! I'm so sorry to hear about your house. You've definitely had a rough start in SA. Thankfully your family is ok. Hang in there! :)

p.s good to hear about having a good insurance agent. My hubby and I are actually shopping around for a new agent because we are not happy with ours, so I maybe we will look into State Farm.

felecia

WOAH!! SO glad you are all ok...and that insurance has been a good thing for you!!!

Debbie

I took your portraiture class and loved it and was thrilled to hear you moved to Texas (being a born Texan myself). How on earth did your house get hit by a tornado when you have only lived in Texas less than a year!!! This run of bad luck has GOT to be over, right?!? Best of luck with the reconstruction. Hang in there, the Lord has to have a great reason for all this mayhem!

Emily

My goodness! We all were talking about your tornado at our last mom's night out here in Brooklyn. So glad everything is fine, relatively speaking. But my gosh, you guys must have some awesome blessings waiting just around the corner cuz, like you said, first the move and then this! You look great with long hair, btw.

Hilary

Holy guacamole Batman!
Scary stuff!

eva / sycamore street press

Wow! That's so crazy. I'm so sorry...but very glad that everyone is safe.

Alicia W.

Wow. That is crazy, especially because of all the other crazy stuff that has happened to you this past year! I hope everything gets sorted out soon!

Pixie

Holy. Smoke! Glad that everyone is safe, that is the most important thing. I'll add y'all to my prayers and hope that everything gets sorted and taken care of quickly and without too much aggrivation or expense.

Annette

Totally crazy! Can't believe it. I've been in Texas now almost ten years and the closest I've come to one was when I was in Target while I was 8 months pregnant! But it's been one of my worst fears...I am so happy you guys are okay. Hang in there and hope to take your portraiture class when everything gets straightened out. Take care!

AP

um wow! that's about all i can say is "wow". my prayers are with you and your family.

Carol

Candice, how scary! I am so sorry that you are facing another crisis of the tangible kind. I always have to remind myself that it is only stuff ( but I do get attached to my "stuff" ). I am thankful that you are all safe and no one was injured. That is a blessing! Hang in there, it has to go up from here...
Carol

Laural

I am so glad you are alright Candice! Were you home when it happened? We just had a flood here not too long ago, and lost everything in our basement, and had it torn out (for sure not as bad!) But I too, am very thankful for insurance!!
Laural from your last Oh Shoot Class

Martha

We are relieved to know that you and your family are safe. So sorry though about your house and all your stuff. What a rough year for you guys! Chin up, though. I'm sure it will all be better from now on. If not, then just move back to Brooklyn! You guys are sorely missed! -I know, I know... if only it were that easy... Best regards, The Motzings -Bill, Martha and Liam.

Frau Haselmayer

Glad to read you are safe! But damn, this is really unbelievable! Yes, it only goes up from now on!!!!!
